The project involved the automation of traffic management processes using the RITM³ digital platform.

OBJECTIVES
Implementation of a solution that automates traffic management processes in the Chelyabinsk agglomeration – including urban districts, municipal areas, and the regional and inter-municipal road network of the agglomeration.
To ensure integration and consolidate existing subsystems into a unified information space using the RITM³ digital platform with two-way data exchange capability.

SOLUTION
The RITM³ digital platform has been deployed at the Traffic Management Center (Central Control Point of JSC "SMUE") and is equipped with the "Intelligent Transport System Performance Monitoring" (Situation Center) and "Digital Transportation Plan" modules.
The RITM³ digital platform consolidates various transport data from sensors, weather stations, and cameras, allowing operators at the Chelyabinsk Control Center to "see" the current state of the city's transport system.
The installed RITM³ modules enable the collection of information and analysis of accident-prone areas, traffic light management, and monitoring of road works.
Work is currently underway to develop existing subsystems and expand their functionality. The platform is being integrated with automated control systems for public lighting, parking space, and public transport monitoring.
