We are regularly asked questions about RITM³ and now we are keen to share some of its ‘secrets’ with you.
❓ What features will contain the GIS module soon to embed? ✅ We would certainly love to make our system GIS functionality as comprehensive as QGIS😎 The new module, like the other ones, will further evolve and likely will become once a full-featured dedicated transportation GIS. We also plan to integrate it deeper with the Transportation Forecasting and Modeling module toolset.
❓ What kinds of data can be exported from RITM³? ✅ First of all, one can export a transportation model to, for example, further independently handling it to a customer. It can be either recorded to a memory stick or provided directly via a dedicated access to enable remotely inspecting the job done. It is possible to export any model’s datasets as *.csv or *.xlsx files, extrude and save maps and diagrams with legends as pictures or retrieve map data layers in modern GIS formats.
